This Highlands addition added space to the kitchen, a half bath, a large laundry, sitting area and large bedroom on the second floor.

The kitchen nearly doubled in size, increasing the amount of cabinet space, a center island with a farm sink, and a side door leading out to a spacious deck.

We removed the load bearing wall dividing the kitchen and dining area. A flush beam was installed in the attic to carry the load to provide for one long continuous room and ceiling.

The window just visible on the right in this picture was replaced with a smaller window to allow for the cabinets to run all the way down the wall and under the window. Scroll back to the first before picture to see the after from this same angle.

We were able to construct this beautiful outdoor living space with gas fireplace and attach it to the main residence yet still provide for a very open atmosphere.

The residence can access this living space from the garage shown in the previous picture or from the great room addition we did for this customer several years ago.

Prior to this structure being built this space was used as a patio and use was limited to pleasant weather conditions.

Customer bought a foreclosure in a state of disrepair.

We put in a load bearing flush beam and eliminated most of the wall between the kitchen and living room. Installed all new hardwood flooring, cabinets, paint and trim.

This shot shows the before and after from the same spot. The sliding glass doors to the porch were removed, the porch floor was raised to match the elevation of the kitchen floor. The copper hood was reconditioned and placed on the far wall. All new new windows were installed on the porch, all new hardwood floors were installed on the porch and the floors in the kitchen were refinished to match. New cabinets were installed with three piece crown attaching the cabinets to the ceiling.

Before and after from the same spot. The Bay window to the right was removed and a smaller window  installed to accommodate wall cabinets, base cabinets and quarts counter tops. We also installed a large copper hood and stove along the same wall. A long center island with quartz counter tops is the focal point of the kitchen. A load bearing flush beam was installed to eliminate the wall with cabinets in the center of the kitchen shown in the picture to the left.

Master bath was totally reconfigured to include very large walk in closet. L shaped vanities with make up area, shower, tub, and private water closet.
