Keenan Foy is a lifelong resident of Louisville and a graduate of St. Xavier High School. He started working in the construction industry during the summers at the age of 14, working on concrete and framing crews all through high school. While Earning his BBA in Real Estate from Eastern Kentucky University, Keenan started his own construction company and worked for himself during the summers and on weekends. After graduating from EKU Keenan took a job with The Webb Companies, a national real estate development company headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. Keenan served as the project manager for the development of the Main and Rose Building, Lexington Green Office Building, West Main Project, and the renovation of an entire city block of Victorian Era buildings “Victorian Square”.
Keenan then came home to Louisville where he joined STM Development Company. He supervised the development of Copperfield, Bridgepointe and the first sections of Springhurst and Sutherland prior to STM falling victim to the 1990 recession. With a family to feed, he then turned back to contracting work for a couple of years and ultimately started developing real estate again. This time Keenan acted as owner, developer, and general contractor of all projects—over 200 homes in total.
The recession of 2008 put a stop to speculative real estate loans, so Keenan has been focusing on remodel and general contracting work for the last several years. Keenan has since managed projects big and small, from the construction of a 30,000 sq foot office building to a simple window and door replacement.
Keenan has been married to his wife Kim since 1984, and they have raised four sons together. Although his top interests in life are his wife and sons, Keenan loves helping people fulfill their project needs. He enjoys making clients home renovation or office build out dreams reality and he hopes to never have to retire.
